About Dr. Shahira

Dr. Shahira Haidary is a chiropractor, healer, educator, and mother with a deep-rooted passion for holistic care. Born in Afghanistan and raised in Queens, New York, her journey into healing was shaped by her cultural heritage, experiences in community health, and the transformative path of motherhood.

With a background in biology, public health, and epidemiology, Dr. Haidary blends evidence-based chiropractic with intuitive, nervous system-centered care. Her approach integrates soft tissue work, energetic rebalancing, herbal medicine, and principles drawn from both ancestral and Indigenous healing traditions.

She specializes in treating headaches, hypermobility, TMJ dysfunction, women’s health, and general aches and pains—offering care that is as compassionate as it is comprehensive. At the core of her work is a belief in the body’s innate ability to heal and a commitment to helping people reconnect with their vitality, balance, and inner wisdom.

Dr. Shahira's Philosophy

My Philosophy

At the core of my practice is a simple belief: the human body possesses an extraordinary capacity to heal, adapt, and thrive when given the right conditions.

Through Blair Upper Cervical Chiropractic, nervous system-focused care, fascial integration, breath awareness, and individualized support, my goal is not merely to reduce symptoms, but to help restore the body’s innate ability to self-regulate and express health from within.

I believe that every person carries a unique story written through their body, mind, and lived experience. Pain, tension, fatigue, and dysfunction are often signals that something deeper is asking to be heard. Rather than chasing symptoms, I seek to understand the root causes of imbalance and create a personalized path toward greater resilience, adaptability, and well-being.

The body is not separate from the mind, the emotions, or the spirit. We are interconnected beings, living within a greater ecosystem while carrying an ecosystem of our own. When alignment is restored—through the nervous system, the upper cervical spine, fascia, breath, and awareness—the body often finds its way back toward balance, ease, and vitality.

My role is not to heal you. Healing is an innate intelligence that already exists within you. My role is to serve as a grounded guide and facilitator, helping remove interference so that your body’s natural wisdom can emerge more fully.

True healing is about more than living with less pain. It is about becoming more present, more adaptable, more resilient, and more capable of expressing the fullest version of yourself. It is about creating the capacity to embrace both joy and challenge with greater ease, connection, and wholeness.

I believe deeply in human potential. I believe that when the nervous system is supported and the body is given space to reorganize, profound transformation becomes possible—not only physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

This is the work that inspires me: helping people reconnect with themselves, reclaim their vitality, and live from a place of greater alignment, freedom, and authentic expression.
